Renae Bryant - A Career in Educational Leadership
Renae Bryant serves as assistant superintendent. She collaborates with educational services, student services, and communications teams to support the organization's mission and vision. Her work emphasizes increasing opportunities for scholars and preparing them for future academic, career, and life goals. In recognition of her leadership, Renae Bryant received the 2025 Q10 Quantum Impact Courageous Leadership Award for Transformational Leadership.
Dr. Bryant is also an adjunct professor and a learning community group leader in the University of La Verne's Educational Leadership Doctorate Program. In these roles, she supports doctoral candidates through instruction, mentorship, and academic guidance. Her responsibilities include serving as a dissertation committee member and leading learning communities that help doctoral students navigate their research and leadership development.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Bryant spent eight years as the director of Plurilingual Services at the Anaheim Union High School District. There, she worked with multilingual students and their families and oversaw programs that supported language development, academic achievement, and educational access. She led initiatives that expanded world language offerings, supported English learner success, facilitated district task forces, and coordinated professional learning opportunities for educators. She also played key roles in grant-funded projects and district-wide planning efforts to improve student outcomes.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bryant's contributions have been recognized through numerous honors, including the National Leading While Female Icon Award and multiple Woman of Distinction awards.
